the spa was lovely. i went to the spa and sauna every day. extras like slippers and a dressing gown were perfect. the staff was friendly and remembered my room. the food was very good, too.
my room lacked a mini fridge. and no fresh milk was available. very pretty hotel and beautiful grounds though.

the family lodge had a perfect location away from the hotel. the setting was lovely and provided huge space for our break. the location next door to the spa was also perfect.
the hotel offered dinner as either two courses or three courses, but vegetables and potatoes cost extra. i ordered a curry, but naan bread was an additional charge. this made it difficult to have a balanced meal.
